Varun Dhawan fan meets police commissioner in order to defend the actor in a recent case where he was charged with traffic challan for riding bike without a helmet. The incident reportedly happened in Kanpur where Dhawan is currently shooting for his next film Bawaal.

The extreme levels to which fans can go for their stars are known to everyone, from writing letters with blood to camping outside their houses. Some of these approaches are dangerous and creepy and actor Varun Dhawan has had a few such experiences in past where his fans took the extreme step. This time as well one of Varun Dhawan's fans have done something that we are not quite sure whether to call creepy and foolish or caring.

Actually Varun Dhawan is currently in Kanpur, shooting for his next with Sajid Nadiadwala starring opposite Jahanvi Kapoor that is supposed to release in April next year. While in Kanpur, Varun is seen taking breaks from shooting and exploring the city and his photos are going viral for it. Some photos showed him riding a bullet on the roads of Kanpur without a helmet that landed him in trouble as traffic police issued a challan against him for violating traffic rules.

However, Varun Dhawan's fans weren't ready to accept the actor's mistake and started blaming the management and crew for allowing him to do so. On April 18, a fangirl named Alka Mishra reportedly approached the Kanpur Police Commissioner with a memorandum demanding to withdraw the case against the actor and said that any actions that need to be taken should be taken against his team.

An inquiry was ordered by the Commissioner of Police and he asked the DCP to prepare a report on the matter and give it to him in 24 hours. He also released a statement saying, "since the permission of the shooting was taken, so the concerned person who provided the bike should be investigated and following action should be taken on the basis of it.’’.

Well, keeping in mind that the traffic rules regarding helmet are same in every city, it is hard to believe that Varun wasn't aware of it in the first place.
