Period.” Legendary basketball player, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant lost their lives along with seven others in a helicopter crash in January, 2020. Mills lyrics say, "Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.”

"I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better that this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact." Mill has received widespread criticism for the lyrics.
Bryant, along with his daughter and a few other associates, was on his way to a youth basketball game at his Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, California on January 26 2020 when the helicopter he was travelling in crashed into a hillside near Los Virgenes Road and Willow Glen Street amid dense fog. The helicopter company stopped operations indefinitely after the crash.
