Twitter Reacts On Indo-Pakistan Show Dhoop Ki Deewar Released On June 25

Dhoop Ki Deewar Released: The Indo-Pakistan cross border love story Dhoop Ki Deewar has released on the OTT platform on June 25 in India. The Zindagi original Pakistani web series will premiere every Friday at 12 Noon in India and has released two episodes on Friday, June 25.

The final episodes of the show will air on the weekend of Independence Day this year on ZEE5. The show is written and directed by Zindagi Gulzar Hai director Umera Ahmed. According to reports, Ahmed started working on the story of the show in 2019 after she was hired by the Pakistani firm Group M to make the story into a drama.

After the release of the first two episodes of the Dhoop Ki Deewar on June 25, viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the show.

One of the viewers posted about the portrayal of grief in Dhoop Ki Deewar writing, "Watched the second episode of #DhoopKiDeewar. It was very slow but @ahadrazamir's acting and accent made it amazing and another best thing is that having grief and misery is still not heavy on the eyes. Really looking forward to next week episode. #sahad (sic)"

Another viewer praised the show by calling it raw and phenomenal that clings to the heart. The tweet read, "Ahad really hits it out of the park hitting the sensitive notes. So measured, raw and phenomenal that it clingers to the heart. Besides that, the overall emotions and cast gave me the treat I really needed. #DhoopKiDeewar (sic)"

After watching the first episode of the show, a Twitter user praised it calling the approach towards the show "realistic". They also added that the show was amazingly directed and enacted.

Another Twitter user praised the cinematography of the show citing the parallel scenes from both sides of the border calling it poetic.

Many viewers also talked about the slow start of the show.

Talking about the show, one of the Twitter users wrote, "#dhoopkideewar Firstly, Can I just appreciate the production quality. @haseebhasan sir your efforts are clearly visible. For me, the pace was a little slow but it is the beginning and we already knew the story to date through the trailer. So Looking forward. (sic)"
