2023 has started on a diverse note with respect to Bollywood. With several films across genres releasing right from the start, the public is intrigued to see what's next. Come March, Luv Ranjan, popular for creating films like 'Pyaar Ka Punchama', is back with another rom-com 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' with a fresh new pairing on board.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, a romantic comedy featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles, is generating great attention from the audience prior to its release.

The film's makers and the cast took to their social media to share the ">trailer of the much-anticipated rom-com. Apart from Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Dimple Kapadia. Kapadia will essay the role of Ranbir Kapoor's mother in the film. The film also features Boney Kapoor, Anubhav Singh Bassi and Monica Chadhaury and Ayesha Raza Mishra in prominent roles.

"It's easier to get into a relationship today but harder to come out of it," says Shraddha Kapoor's character in the film, which has not one but several takes on modern-day relationships. The trailer reveals a lot of hilarious moments between the actors, especially when their family gets involved in a mission to get them married.
Written by Rahul Mody and Luv Ranjan, the film will dive deep into the madness of a young couple who is caught in a battle of wits and engages in tricky games when they progress in their relationship. With a film featuring popular actors like Shraddha and Ranbir Kapoor, it will be interesting to see the underlying message the story delivers and how entertaining it will be to get the audience glued to their screens.
The music of the film is composed by Pritam. TJMM's makers and cast had come up with a unique activity prior to the title announcement last year. The cast had taken to their social media to engage the fans in a guessing game where the latter was asked to figure out the title through the abbreviations TJMM. Not just the fans, Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor's friends from the film industry participated in the game too.
The film is produced by Luv Ranjan and Anshul Garg. Targeting a Holi release, TJMM is all set to hit the theatres on March 8, 2023.
