The Family Man season 2 trailer is finally out now and the much-delayed web series will now premiere on June 4 on Amazon Prime Video. The trailer of the new season, released on Wednesday, shows how Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee, is trying to be a middle-class family man while pitted against the "new face of danger" named Raaji, essayed by Samantha Akkineni.
Sharing the update on Twitter along with a brand new poster of the series, Akkineni tweeted on May 18, "We're ready for you." The Majili actor has been roped in to play a terrorist leader and antagonist in this season. Her husband, actor Naga Chaitanya, also reshared the poster of the series. "Finally! It's about time," he wrote.

The Family Man's first season released in 2019,. It is centered around Srikant Tiwari, who works for a special division of the National Investigation Agency and struggles to balance his secretive job profile and personal life.
The award-winning show also marks the digital debut of Telugu star Samantha Akkineni. This will also be her first major Hindi project. She will be joining the stellar cast of the show which includes Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi and Seema Biswas. The official Twitter account of Amazon Prime India had earlier captioned a tweet as “kal kuch aisa hone wala hai jiske baare mein hum soch bhi nahi sakte", referring to its “unpredictable” storyline. Creators Raj and DK said in a statement that the team has confidently carved out an exciting season for all the fans, despite having to work through the pandemic. They praised Akkineni and said she has done a "tremendous job".
Taapsee Pannu and Hansal Mehta are among those who have appreciated the trailer. “So good! Sir u are outstanding !and @Samanthaprabhu2 can’t wait to see u on this new medium with this new look,” Pannu wrote in her post.
