Taylor Swift cancels Lover Fest Concerts: Taylor Swift has officially cancelled all of her upcoming and pending tours due to the “unprecedented pandemic." Sharing that her much-awaited concerts Love Fest has now been canceled, Swift took to Twitter and wrote, “I love coming on here to tell you good news, or to share a new project with you. It’s not my favorite thing in the world to have to tell you news I’m sad about.”

In a statement, the 31-year-old star also announced that the "near future" of live performances are still unclear and unpredictable for the whole industry: Taylor Swift cancels Lover Fest concerts.

The singing sensation who recently released a new version of her 2008 hit song Love Story, has been waiting to return to the stage, backed up with all postponed shows from last year. She had planned to perform on her 2019 album Lover this year but due to the pandemic her Lover Fest concerts, which were slated to take place in Los Angeles and Foxborough, MA, now officially stand cancelled.

“This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” the 31-year-old singer-songwriter continued. “I’m so disappointed that I won’t be able to see you in person as soon as I wanted to. I miss you terribly and can’t wait til we can all safely be at shows together again.”

The Lover singer released two albums, Folklore and Evermore, during the lockdown. In April, she will release Fearless (Taylor’s Version), a fully re-recorded take on her Grammy-winning album. A 10-time Grammy winner, Swift was named the world’s highest-paid entertainer by the annual Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2019.
