Taapsee Pannu announces first film under production banner- Blurr: Taapsee Pannu, after achieving success as an actor, now intends to give back to the industry where she has learnt so much. The actor, who has been working in films for more than a decade, is all set to produce her first film under her recently launched production house "Outsiders Films". Pannu, on July 15, took to her social media platforms to make the big announcement and wrote, "Here’s the first one of the slate. The chill to match the thrill! #BLURR!"
The Pink actor launched her production house Outsiders Films on Thursday. For this new venture, she has teamed up with Pranjal Khandhdiya, a content creator and producer for over two decades. Sharing the same on Instagram, she posted a picture of herself with her partner Khandhdiya.
Pannu was last seen in recently released film Haseen Dillruba alongside Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane. About the launch of her own production house, the Thappad star shared that she was thrilled to "embark upon this new journey" and "diversify" her love for cinema. "Having my business ventures, management comes naturally to me," Pannu said, adding that with Outsiders Films, she is now aiming to "give back to the industry" and "empower talent" who are looking for a breakthrough and come with no background like her. Talking about naming the company, she said that since she has come from a humble background, the name Outsiders Films suited her company. "We aim to produce meaningful, entertaining, and quality content," she promised.
Khandhdiya has been involved in the production of renowned films such as Super 30, 83, Soorma, Piku, Mubarakan, Azhar and is also producing Rashmi Rocket, starring Pannu.
