Stepping Into Whole New World: Swara Bhaskar Announces Pregnancy

Congratulations are in order for actor Swara Bhasker and her politician husband Fahad Ahmad. The couple are expecting their first child together as they announced in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

The Tanu Weds Manu actor shared a photo of her baby bump while sitting alongside her husband on the terrace under the open sky.

Swara looks stunning in a pink gown, while Fahad wore a beige shirt. The first two photos are pretty clear, while the third merely shows the couple's silhouette.

Swara Bhaskar Announces Pregnancy

The Instagram post revealing her pregnancy has brought many congratulating wishes from Bollywood stars as well as from politicians. Moreover, fans are exceedingly happy too.

The actor mentioned in the caption, "Sometimes all your prayers are answered all together! Blessed, grateful, excited (and clueless! ) as we step into a whole new world!

Greeting the couple, actor Parvathy Thiruvothu wrote, "Mubarak" while Guneet Monga, the Oscar winner for the documentary The Elephant Whispers says "Sooooo much to celebrate! Love love love!! And god bless you both and the little one congratulations".

Other celebrities such as Faraz Arif Ansari, Priya Malik and filmmaker Tanuja Chandra also showered the couple with virtual blessings.

Swara and Fahad got married this February in Delhi.

Fahad is a student leader and activist with the Samajwadi Party. He is the current President of the Maharashtra and Mumbai Samajwadi Party. Swara and Fahad initially met in 2019 at the CAA protest. When she formally announced her marriage to him in February, she uploaded a video that showed followers a chronology of their relationship.

Swara, who has been in films like as Nil Battey Sannata, Tanu Weds Manu, and Raanjhana, was most recently featured in the 2022 film Jahaan Chaar Yaar. She is now anticipating the release of her film Mrs Falani.
