The information was made public after Lalit Modi published pictures of their vacation in Maldives and Sardinia along with some old photographs. Soon, rumours of the couple's secret wedding surfaced.
Lalit Modi announced his relationship with Sushmita Sen on July 14 by posting a number of images of the two of them. However, Sushmita didn't share any updates at the time. While Sushmita and Lalit have grabbed conversations since last night, the actor finally took to Instagram to respond to the rumours.
Sushmita Sen Wedding Rumours
Sushmita Sen responded to the recent change in her life after Lalit Modi made their relationship statuses on Instagram and Twitter public. In fact, there are rumours that Sushmita received the huge ring she is wearing in one of Lalit's pictures as a gift.
Some others stated that they intended to be married shortly. On July 15, Sushmita shared a picture of her two kids Renee and Alisah without including Lalit in her clarifying statement.
She posted, "I am in a happy place!!! NOT MARRIED NO RINGS Unconditionally surrounded by love!! Enough clarification was given now back to life & work!! Thank you for sharing in my happiness always and for those who don’t it’s #NOYB Anyway!!! I love you guys!!! #duggadugga #yourstruly (sic)."
Lalit Modi revealed their relationship in a set of pictures that they published on July 14. Lalit Modi posted the pictures and wrote, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families - not to mention my # better-looking partner @sushmitasen47 - a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon. Love does not mean marriage YET. BUT ONE THAT BY GOD'S GRACE WILL HAPPEN. I JUST ANNOUNCED THAT WE ARE TOGETHER (sic).”
Lalit had also made it clear that he is not currently getting married to Sushmita but plans to do so in the future.
