"She Sees A Storm Coming": Sushmita Sen Announces Aarya 2

Aarya 2: Sushmita Sen took to Instagram to announce the second season of her award-winning thriller Aarya. She addressed her followers and fans and said, "your wish is our command."

Sen made her digital debut with Aarya last year and many awards for her performance in the series. She uploaded a picture on Instagram on Thursday and the caption read, “She sees a storm coming…in the mirror!!! 👊❤️ #Aarya #season2 😉 “your wish is our command” 🤗💃🏻 I love you guys!!! Let’s do this @madhvaniram @officialrmfilms @disneyplushotstarvip #TeamAarya 👊😁👏 #duggadugga 🙏.”

So far, the date of release has not been revealed but a report by Indianexpress talks about the makers' intention with the next instalment of the series and according to which the show will be released sometime later this year. The makers always wanted to take Aarya's story forward, showing her face newer challenges.

The major plot of the thriller series revolved around a woman named Aarya who has to deal with family politics after her husband's death. She unwillingly takes up the family business to protect her family and later fights one evil force after another by showing her courage.

Sushmita Sen's performance in Aarya has been applauded by critics. This came long after Sen's earlier films. The series is being directed by Ram Madhvani and the story is based on a Spanish show named Penoza. Actors Chandrachur Singh, Vikas Kumar, Ankur Bhati, Namit Das. Jayant Kriplani, Manish Chaudhary and others accompany Sushmita Sen on the screen. The first season of the show can be streamed on Disney+Hotstar.
