Sunny Leone is set to make her first appearance on the esteemed red carpet at the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival. The actor is starring in Kennedy, a 'police noir' drama directed by Anurag Kashyap which will be screened at the festival.

Kennedy has secured a spot in the coveted Midnight Screening section of the festival and will be screened on May 24. Alongside Leone, director Anurag Kashyap and co-stars Rahul Bhat and Abhilash Thapliyal will also grace the event.

For her first appearance, Leone dressed in a one-shouldered cut-out maxi dress, with a pair of matching green strappy heels, middle-parted touseled hair, and subtle makeup.

Leone revealed that her debut is causing her intense anxiety, surpassing the normal amount. The significance of her own role and the film amplifies the pressure of being on the red carpet for her. The fact that Kennedy has been selected by a prestigious jury for the festival is a tremendous honour and holds great importance for Leone.
