Earlier this month, comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale revealed their first pregnancy. They recently celebrated their baby shower with a blend of fun and tradition, embracing a full Maharashtrian style. The festivities included traditional rituals like "Oti Bharan" and playful moments like posing with a bow and arrow.
In one of the photos, the couple can be seen playfully changing the doll's diapers, and they also captured moments of cake-cutting and partaking in the "barfi peda rasam." When sharing these behind-the-scenes pictures with their fans, the couple added, "Celebrating the upcoming arrival of our little one. Our Baby Shower in a Maharashtrian Traditional Way (dohale jevan) followed by all the customs. Oti Bharan, Pooja and fun rituals like Barfi Peda Rasam, Name Suggestions by all the Guests, Bow & Arrow (Teer Kaman), Cake Cutting, Fun games like Diaper Changing etc."

The Kapil Sharma Show comedians, and co-stars-turned-couple are expecting their first child two years later to their marriage. The couple announced the pregnancy on Instagram sharing pictures of Mishra's baby bump sporting shades of pink in a beach photoshoot.
The couple shared the news on a joint Instagram post captioned "The best is yet to come... Can't wait to meet our new addition." Soon after sharing the big news on their social media page, their comment section was flooded with their friends from the industry including Neha Kakkar, Akriti Kakkar, Tabu, Bharti Singh and many others showering love.
Sugandha Mishra Announces Pregnancy
As social media has turned into an expedient medium for fans and celebrities to connect in a closer and direct manner, many celebrities find it easier to share big events of their lives directly with their fans through social media. Indian television actor and comedian, Sugandha Mishra also took to her Instagram to announce her pregnancy news.
Sugandha Mishra with her husband Sanket Bhosale shared the news with a prenatal photoshoot where the couple is seen showcasing the baby bump and sporting shades of pink on a beach as Mishra is seen donning a magenta floor gown with a slit while her husband wore a baby pink shirt paired with denim complimenting the colour palette.
As the couple posed, they asked everyone to keep their "love and blessings on" in their caption announcing the news. Neha Kakkar commented on the post and wrote "Aww...God Bless You". Akriti Kakkar commented, stating, "All our love to you sweetheart." Comedian Bharti Singh showered her blessings saying, "Congratulations guys...Stay blessed". On the other hand, new mom Gauhar Khan and Tabu also showered their love congratulating the couple under the post along with many other celebrities.

Sugandha Mishra who is best known for mimicking Kangna Ranaut and many other Bollywood celebrities rose to fame during the 2005 singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa as she was one of the top 5 finalists. She was later seen in shows like The Great Indian Comedy where she showcased her comic talents and became popular with The Kapil Sharma Show, where she met her Sanket Bhosale.
Mishra and Bhosale, who is a doctor and comedian himself, tied the knot in April 2021 in Jalandhar after their wedding date was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The comedian couple often shares their comedy stints and gigs on social media.
