Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 release date is eagerly awaited, as volume 1 of the series was released on screens today. Season 4 being the penultimate season of the series, Netflix previously decided to give the audience a treat of an extended- two-volume version this season as confirmed on February 17, 2022. Three complete seasons and volume 1 of the fourth season of Stranger Things, which first premiered in July 2016, are currently available to watch on Netflix. Stranger Things has finally returned to screens after a three-year-long wait, a delay due to the pandemic, and has created quite a buzz in the audience. The first volume of the fourth season of Netflix's original show Stranger Things, premiered today on Friday, May 27. Containing all of seven episodes, volume 1 is out and on the screams available for the audience to watch.
To celebrate the launch of the series Gateway of India in Mumbai was lit up hours before the show premiered on Netflix. Following the theme of the show, a larger-than-life projection, with help of projection mapping, a rift was displayed, portraying the rift in our world that opens to the parallel universe, Upside Down. Pictures of the leading characters of the show including Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max were also displayed on this landmark.
The Gateway of India joined in on the celebration, to launch the Season 4 of Stranger things along with 15 prominent monuments across 14 countries, including the Empire State Building in New York, Duomo Square in Milan, Bondi Beach in Australia, Malecon Barranquilla in Colombia, and The Wawel Castle in Krakow. Reports also revealed that music giant Ilaiyaraaja has collaborated with Netflix to compose a background score for Stranger Things. The show will also release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in India.

Stranger Things season 4 will follow the gang through their new high school life. This season is said to follow the gang, as they get separated for the first time as they step into high school. The gang tries their best to go through life, unaware of the grave trouble, awaiting them from the Upside Down in the form of Vector Creel and Vecna. Along with the return of the core cast, this season will feature David Harbour’s return as Jim Hopper who was alive and trapped in a Russian prison all this time.
With volume 1 of season 4 streaming on Netflix from today, May 27, part 2 will premiere on July 1. Another report revealed that the series was split into two parts because the creators couldn’t condense the series and make justice to the series.
The episodes are also said to be twice as long as the episodes from the previous seasons, so the fans are in for a treat. With volume 1 containing 7 episodes, the last two episodes titled “Papa” and “The Piggyback” will premiere on July 1, 2022.
