Blackpink's Lisa: Lisa Manoban, the lead rapper with K-pop girl group Blackpink belongs to Thailand and enjoys a massive fan base.

When screenshots of a group chat surfaced on the internet, in which the people were seen attacking Lisa's Thai origin and shaming her for it, her fans couldn't let it pass. 

Several users on Twitter posted about why it's problematic to attack an artist just because she belongs to a country. The group chat had members talking about Lisa's virginity and shaming her for belonging to a country which has been linked to human trafficking. 

The hashtags #Respectlisa and #stopracism made rounds on Twitter. Lisa's fans expressed their anger towards the content of the leaked chats and extended their support to the artist.

The members of Blackpink have given a name to their fans-- Blinks. That is what the fans of the k-pop group like to call themselves. Blackpink's Lisa out of the four members in the group enjoys the most number of followers on Instagram with a total of 46 million. 

The group went live on Youtube on January 31 with their virtual concert named The Show. It attracted a massive number of viewers as most of the group's music videos do. The group member Rose came out with her debut single on the show by the name Gone.
