Shilpa Shetty Kundra Calls Her Daughter Samisha 'Angel' As She Turns One

Shilpa Shetty Kundra Daughter: Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her entrepreneur husband Raj Kundra celebrated their daughter Samisha's birthday as she turned one.

In an Instagram post, Shetty posted an adorable video and said that they are celebrating her baby girl's “first tooth to first words, from her first smile to first crawl.” In the video, Samisha can be seen crawling on a mat.

The actor further said that according to her, “every milestone is special.” Samisha can be heard calling her 'mumma' as she plays with her toys, hence, the post is also captioned as, “Mumma”.  "...hearing you say this, as you turn one today is the greatest gift I could ever get," she wrote. Shetty and Kundra welcomed their baby girl Samisha on February 15, 2020, via surrogacy. The couple also has a seven-year-old son, Viaan. She wrote on Instagram, “Our prayers have been answered with a miracle. With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little Angel Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020, Junior SSK in the house, ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have”, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name – our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family. Please bestow our angel with all your love and blessings. Ecstatic parents: Raj and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Overjoyed brother: Viaan-Raj Kundra.”

Revealing the origin of the baby girl’s name, the actor last year described, “‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is ‘to have’, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for ‘someone like God’. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family."

The couple tied the knot in 2009.
