Led by Emmy and Golden Globe winner, Tatiana Maslany, the She-Hulk series is a 10-episode legal comedy series with Maslany playing the role of Jennifer Walters. Joined by Mark Ruffalo, the Avengers: Endgame star and Doctor Strange’s Benedict Wong and Tim Roth from The Incredible Hulk, the additional cast has Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Renee Elise Wong and Josh Segarra. Megan Thee Stallion is rumoured to appear in the show.

According to reports, written by Jessica Gao, the head writer and Emmy-winning scribe behind Rick And Morty Season 3, the series is directed by Kat Cario and Anu Valia who are also executive producers of the show.

First announced by Marvel’s chief officer, Kevin Feige at the 2019 D23 along with MCU’s Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight, the project comes off as the iconic superheroes’ live-action debut.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere August 17 on Disney Plus. Following the life of Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney. The show will also portray her as a green superpowered hulk. Hosting a number of MCU stars, the character was created by Stan Lee and John Buscema and first appeared in The Savage She-Hulk.

According to the comics, Jennifer Walters is the cousin of Bruce Banner. Certain events lead her to endure injuries and receive an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin. After getting the blood transfusion, Jennifer got all the powers of the Hulk. Added to all the problems, the regular lawyer transforms into a Gamma-powered superhero and Jennifer makes sure that she uses it as her strength with her wit and confidence.

Her experience as a lawyer often saves superheroes including Steve Rogers from legal troubles.
