Bollywood is a crockpot of many things beautiful, but equally many things regressive. From justifying the idea that it is okay to be violent with a partner or that a woman really means 'yes' when she says 'no,' Hindi films have contributed massively to the modern misogyny we are surrounded by.

With the strides feminism is taking now, however, people are rising up to call out the sexist bits in the content we consume. And since Bollywood is among the biggest and most influential defaulters, there is much to point out here.
