Earlier Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter handle to talk about the film and spoke about how it is a family entertainer. Now the time has come to judge whether a film is a family entertainer or not. Many watched the film today in the theater and a few of the viewers gave their reviews on Twitter. Let's dive into these Twitter reviews-

Selfiee Twitter Review

A user said, "1st half is a full-on comedy, the second half is comedy + goosebumps. Maja aa gaya bhai.. Some Akkians should learn from Emraan Hashmi character jo akki se dil se love karta he box office se nahi.. Aag lagadi movie ne must watch hai, licence debate is awesome.

The second user on performances, lamented, "Selfiee is a full-package family ENTERTAINER filled with humor & emotions Made for the fans. Everyone will relate to it. Hashmi's name is enough to promise a splendid performance and Akshay's Top-notch acting. Nushrratt and DianaPenty delivered their best."

"Selfiee is a heartwarming entertainer. Tussle between a Star & his fan fronted with Solid Drama, emotions & Humor. Akshay Kumar is brilliant, while Emraan is the soul of the film. Director made a good film for a family audience", tweeted a user.

A few users were also disappointed by the movie. A user said, "Watched this movie with 3 people in the theater for precisely 25 min & 32 seconds and I was looking for a brick to break the screen! Thank god, there was no brick around. Don't know why I watched this. One word- This movie is about mental illness."

As the film is a remake of the Malayalam film, a few did complain of loss in translation. A user stated, "Selfiee misses the very point of the film it's trying to adapt. Why remake a film when you are unwilling/unable to culturally translate? Some thoughts."

A few users credited directors and writers for splendid execution. A user said, "Watched Selfiee movie last night.

Akshay Kumar is brilliant in it, but Emraan Hashmi is shining all the way. Director Raj Mehta once again proves that he is a very good director. Definitely evening and night shows occupancy will pick."

Overall the film is family entertainer and definitely deserves a one time watch.
