Sayantani Ghosh Ties Knot With Her Long-term Beau Anugrah Tiwari

In a private ceremony in Kolkata actor Sayantani Ghosh, married her longtime partner Anugrah Tiwari. Only their family and closest friends were present at the occasion.

Sayantani's Haldi ceremony took place on Sunday morning at her home in the presence of her close friends and relatives.

Ghosh wore the saree that her grandmother had given to her for the engagement. The couple reportedly dated for eight years before tying the knot. Anugrah Tiwari is an Indian fitness trainer and is from Rajasthan. They will reportedly host a reception in Jaipur on 9th December.

Ghosh captioned a photo of her wedding, "And just like that, I went from being a Miss to a Mrs." She wore a red and gold saree designed by Mitan Ghosh and accessorised her look with classic gold jewellery.

She also shared a picture from her engagement ceremony on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote, "The best thing in life is to hold on to each other, and here we are about to begin a new chapter in our lives." As we embark on our new adventure, my dida has bestowed an eternal blessing on us. She gave me the saree and bangles I'm wearing, and she seemed to be present at our wedding reception last night!"

It is an intercultural wedding. When asked about the 'clash of cultures,' Sayantani said in an interview, "We are not following any cultures." We've chosen simple rituals over elaborate ones. The most common will be kanyadan, warmala, pheras, sindoor, and mangal sutra (in the cultures that both follow)." 

With the popular show Kumkum, Sayantani Ghosh made her television debut in 2002. Since then, she has appeared in several popular shows, including Naaginn, Naagin 4, and Mahabharata. She also participated in Bigg Boss 6. She is currently starring as the lead in Tera Yaar Hoon Main. She has done many Bengali movies too.

Daljeet, Sayantani's character in Tera Yaar Hoon Main, is also getting married. The actress is ecstatic that her on-screen wedding soundtrack matches her real-life wedding.
