Watch: Kiara Advani Takes A Lead With Romance In Satyaprem Ki Katha Trailer

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's starer film Satyaprem Ki Katha has released its official trailer today! 

What a banger start to a Monday! The much-awaited trailer of the film Satyaprem Ki Katha has finally been officially released. After the sweet teaser of the film and the release of a refreshing romantic song 'Naseeb Se', filmmakers have finally launched the trailer of this musical love story. 

Satyaprem Ki Katha Trailer: 

The Bhool Bhulaiya 2 duo is back and can be seen in another interesting love story. Aaryan can be seen as a simple above-board lovesick boy who is eager to marry. Aaryan's character Satyaprem (Sattu) romantically pursues Advani's quirky character Katha. The film is set up in a Gujarati family.

The trailer has all the Bollywood masala from the extravagant dance numbers to picturesque scenic locations, heavy-handed dialogue delivery, some comic relief with relatable desi comical chaos, and pipping hot chemistry between Kartik and Kiara. The beloved blockbuster Jodi proves the love they receive for playing onscreen couples is for all the right reasons through their chemistry and coordination which can already be seen in the trailer.

The trailer starts with Kartik's character Satyaprem (Sattu) asking Katha (Kiara Advani) if she has a boyfriend. In another scene, Sattu (Kartik Aaryan) asks Katha (Kiara) if she is serious in her relationship, and informs her that he can wait for her. Eventually, the duo falls in love, but the story takes an unpleasant twist. What happens soon after isn't revealed, making it an unhappily ever after for now.  

Gajrao Rao and Supriya Pathak can also be seen in the trailer as Sattu's (Kartik Aaryan) parents, while Wake Up Sid fame Shikha Talsania can be seen as a savage sister to Sattu, adding more to the Gujarati household setup. 

This film is a big collaboration between Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures. The film is helmed by national award-winning director Sameer Vidwans and the film was announced in 2021. 

The film is all set to grace the theatres on 29th June.
