My Personal Beliefs Are My Own: Sara Ali Khan On Being Trolled For Temple Visits

Sara Ali Khan recently came under the radar of mindless trolling for going to the Mahakal shrine in Ujjain. Now, the actor has responded to the trolls.

Despite the fact that she has received much appreciation, she's being trolled for her temple visit. On the internet, several individuals contended that it was simply a publicity stunt to promote her next movie, Zara Hat Ke Zara Bach Ke. The actor who is a frequent visitor of Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, finds herself closer to spirituality.

Sara Ali Khan Trolled For Temple Visit

Sara Ali Khan visited the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain recently, and videos of her trip were widely shared online. During the visit, she also seemed to be completely engulfed in the spirit of devotion while standing close to the Kothi Teerth Kund, which is situated on the temple's grounds. She participated in the Bhasma Aarti, which is performed at that time between 4 and 5 AM during the Brahma Muhurta.

However, at a press conference, Khan finally spoke up about the trolls. She vowed that she would take her profession seriously. Although she works for people and feels bad if they don't appreciate what she does, she said, “My personal beliefs are my own."

She also stated that she would travel to Ajmer Sharif with the same devotion with which she would travel to Bangla Sahib or Mahakal. She said she would continue visiting and cares about what people make of it. 

It should be noted that Khan was not a first-time visitor to the Mahakal temple. Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan previously performed a darshan in December 2021.  However, some religious groups were angry over Khan's visit. Moreover, the actor was frequently spotted at different temples.

In Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Sara Ali Khan will appear alongside Vicky Kaushal. Laxman Utekar is the director, and Maddock Studios, owned by Dinesh Vijan, is the producer. On June 2, 2023, the film will premiere in theatres. She also has Murder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan scheduled in addition to the aforementioned film. Additionally, she will also be seen in Metro In Dino.
