Born on this day, Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan published a photo of herself in which she can be seen posing in a gym. Sara appeared in a jacket, shorts, and sunglasses. "Happy Birthday, Sara," she said as the caption for the post. "Exercise for your body, mind, and spirit whenever you forget to love yourself."
In 2018's romantic drama Kedarnath, directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Khan made her acting debut as a "Hindu" woman who falls in love with Sushant Singh Rajput, a Muslim porter. Khan reportedly worked with Rajput to expand her Hindi vocabulary in preparation for her role. Reviews for Kedarnath were divided, but Khan's performance got praise. Khan co-starred with Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty's action movie Simmba, which was partially based on the Telugu film Temper, a few weeks after Kedarnath's release (2015). She got to work on it while Kedarnath's filming was momentarily stopped.

Atrangi Re
Khan appeared in the Aanand L. Rai drama Atrangi Re in 2021, which debuted on Disney+ Hotstar after a number of delays because of the nationwide pandemic lockdown. Vishu is kidnapped and given laughing gas, which turns out to be a reasonable metaphor for a moviegoer.
