Parineeti Chopra Starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar To Release On March 19

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar release date announced: Close to the trailer launch of her Saina Nehwal biopic, actor Parineeti Chopra is back in news for another of her yet-to-release project. The second trailer of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar was unveiled today, revealing that the film will release on March 19. The film stars Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in lead.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has been directed by Dibakar Banerjee, known for films like Khosla Ka Ghosla Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Shanghai and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! Banerjee has also co-produced the film. Apart from Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor, actors like Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Jaideep Ahlawat also feature in the film.

During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Banerjee said that he wanted Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar to be a film that couples, families, gangs of friends would watch in the theatres and then go out for dinner to argue about it. "Now, that we will be one of the first films to open theatrically I'm waiting to watch if that happens (with masks on!) or the audience passes the genre-bending and independent-minded to go for the summer blockbusters that are waiting for us to be the cannon fodder and then come in and wave their victory flags!”

Parineeti Chopra was recently seen in the Netflix film The Girl On The Train. Apart from Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, she'll also feature in Saina this year.
