Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's divorce back in 2021, broke their fans' hearts. Ever since, fans have been coming up with theories and speculations about the divorce, while the ex-couple has decided to stay mum on the matter. However, recently on Koffee with Karan, actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, made it clear that the couple isn't cordial and that there are hard feelings.
This news has now surfaced on the internet after Film producer Murali Mohan, revealed that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has repurchased the house she shared with her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya, after their divorce. Samantha Ruth Prabhu became subjects for memes, back when the news of divorce surfaced, with baseless rumours of her receiving alimony of 250 crores, and Naga Chaitanya gifting her the house, making rounds on the internet.
Talking about the same, veteran actor and filmmaker Murali Mohan revealed in an interview, "Naga Chaitanya and Samantha were staying in this apartment after marriage. Meanwhile, the couple got divorced and Samantha was looking for a place of her own. She wasn't happy with the options and felt that this apartment is the best suited for her. But it was not available as it had been sold to someone else. Samantha insisted on the apartment, so I somehow convinced the new owners and they were even given a higher price."
With this move of repurchasing the house all by herself, Samantha has now put an end to those rumours. Netizens are coming in support of Samantha, calling her an independent and self-made woman. Reports suggest that Samantha now lives in the same house, with her mother. Recently on the popular chat show Koffee with Karan, Samantha also brushed off all rumours of her receiving alimony in crores from her ex-husband, also making it very clear that the two currently don't share a very cordial relationship, but might sometime in the future.
When asked about her love life and current affairs Samantha also added that her heart is currently closed, and anyone with an interest in pursuing her romantically should drop the plan. Netizens have taken to Twitter to
