Saina Premiere Amazon Prime Video: Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra's latest film Saina will now premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 23.
The official Twitter handle of Amazon Prime Video made the announcement and tweeted a trailer of the film today. All Amazon Prime users will be able to stream the film across India and in 240 countries from their homes.

"I am extremely thrilled with the film having a global digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video, bringing such an inspirational story to audiences across the world,” said Parineeti Chopra.
She also added that she had learnt the many challenges that come along when it comes to a biographical film. Chopra said that recreating Saina Nehwal's 'accomplishments and hardships' was truly challenging. "I worked on the physical appearance and the right body language, and I am glad it worked out in my favour. I had a great time working on this film," the actor concluded.
What is Saina All About?
Parineeti Chopra's film Saina is a sports biography based on the life of Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal. It showcases how Saina rose from humble beginnings, to become one of the most acclaimed badminton players in the country. The film particularly highlights some of her winning moments which include the 2012 London Olympics and also brings to life the people who were a part of her professional journey.
The film is written and directed by filmmaker Amole Gupte who is well-known for directing Stanley Ka Dabba. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rajesh Shah, co-produced by Vinod Bhanushali and Shiv Chanana. The film was initially released in theatres on March 26.
Initially, actor Shraddha Kapoor was roped in to play the role of Saina Nehwal. However, she decided to move on and was soon replaced by Parineeti Chopra.
