Rita Ora 30th birthday bash: A representative of police in London said that it was selfish of Rita Ora to have a birthday bash in the middle of a pandemic in November last year.

The singer had been reported flouting lockdown rules in London when she celebrated her 30th birthday at a restaurant in London last year November. The police also alleged that Rita Ora and team bribed the restaurant Casa Cruz, manager with 5,000 euros. The restaurant might see its license get cancelled because of the event.

Police representative, Charles Holland, during  a virtual hearing, said that the Rita Ora "wanted to flout the lockdown for financial gain and selfish pleasure."

He said that the party was held on November 28 when the UK was in its second lockdown, people were strictly told to stay at home and restaurants and bars were not allowed to serve people. He added that while some of Rita Ora's guests arrived from the front door other 17 people entered the premises from the backdoor. It has also been found that the CCTV footage from that day is missing.

The restaurant manager has admitted that he took the bribe as he said that he was being "greedy". The party saw many high profile guests and supermodel Cara Delevingne and her sister Poppy also reportedly attend the birthday party of the singer.

Rita Ora had apologised for the same last year when she admitted attending a gathering and called it a misguided decision taken in the spur of the moment. She was also fined a hefty sum of 10k euros for breaching the lockdown. The singer who had just come back from Egypt after doing a private company had failed to isolate herself for 14 days as per rule. She took to Instagram to apologise for it and claimed that her earning from the show have been donated to charity.

She had said, "I feel particularly embarrassed knowing first-hand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help keep us all safe. Even though this won't make it right, I want to sincerely apologise."
