Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal Wedding Plans: Check Dates, Venue, Guest List

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are planning to tie the knot by the end of this month, after dating for several years. According to their private wedding plans, the wedding celebration will last for five days, and a reception is also being planned for Delhi and Mumbai.

According to a source, the wedding celebrations will start in Delhi by September end, with a grand reception planned for Mumbai in the first week of October. In addition to the traditional wedding ceremonies, the couple intends to have family and friends over for a sangeet and mehendi ceremony. Reportedly, the reception is said to happen in a south Mumbai hotel with 350–400 guests, including the A-list of Bollywood.

In an interview with a news outlet last month, Richa Chadha revealed her wedding plans. She said, "I think shaadi ho jaegi iss saal. Kar lenge kisi tarah se (We will get married this year, will marry somehow). We don't want to be in the news for the wrong reasons. We're very happy to be married, but (we) simply worry about COVID and want to be responsible. Plus, since things started to happen and work picked back up, we've both become really busy, so I’m saying we have to like do a live production job of taking combination dates and making this happen this year."

In 2020, Chadha and Fazal confirmed their relationship and shared that they would get married in April of that same year. However, the COVID-19 outbreak caused a delay. Regarding this, Chadha had already remarked, "2020 has treated us badly in a number of ways. We are still very much in the grip of the pandemic, and there is no vaccine in sight. In the best interests of everyone who would come, it is only rational to postpone our celebration till the following year."

After numerous delays caused by the pandemic and shooting commitments, Chadha and Fazal have finally decided on their wedding date. According to reports, the couple is eager to begin their new journey together and are looking forward to sharing their wedding with loved ones.
