Rhea Chakraborty Joins Roadies Season 19 As Gang Leader, Calls It A Homecoming

Rhea Chakraborty is set to make a triumphant return to MTV as the Gang Leader on the famous reality show MTV Roadies Season 19. Seema Sajdeh, the sister of her rumoured boyfriend Bunny Sajdeh, reacted to the news.

Chakraborty, who has been absent from television for several years, announced her next project on Monday. MTV Roadies season 19 will feature her as a gang boss. This marks her first television endeavour since her ex-boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died.

Rhea Chakraborty, who began her career on MTV, has now come full circle by joining Roadies Season 19. A new promo featuring the actor has been released by the channel. The reality program auditions are slated to begin soon.

The actor took to Instagram and shared a video announcing the reality show audition details. She climbs down a rope in the video and says, "Did you think I wouldn't come back or am I scared? It's time for someone else to be terrified, see you at the auditions."

Celebrities such as actor Aparshakti Khurrana and reality TV star and clothing designer Seema Sajdeh responded to the announcement in the comments section shortly after she shared it.

In the latest season of Roadies, she will be joined as a gang leader by Prince Narula and Gautam Gulati. Sonu Sood will reportedly return as the show's host.

Rhea Chakraborty expressed in a statement that she is thrilled to be a part of MTV Roadies Season 19, a cultural phenomenon. She also stated that working with MTV feels like a "homecoming." She also added that she is looking forward to working with Sonu Sood and other Gang Leaders since she would be able to show off her tenacity and fearlessness during this exciting adventure.

She was last spotted in Chehre after making headlines with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. Following Sushant's death, she was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with a drug case. According to sources, she is currently dating Seema Sajdeh's brother, Bunty Sajdeh.
