After Six Years Of Marriage, Rapper Raftaar, Komal Vohra File For Divorce

The two have now deleted their wedding photos and unfollowed one another on social media.

Rapper Raaftar and his wife, interior designer, Komal Vohra, have decided to officially part ways. It's likely that their six-year marriage will end in October of this year. According to recent reports, the couple, who got married in 2016, filed for divorce in 2020, during the time of the pandemic, which caused a delay in the final proceedings. The couple has been living separately for a while.

A source close to the couple confirmed that everything was delayed because of the pandemic. On October 6, they will reportedly sign the divorce papers. The sources claim that the couple's issues started "only a few days after their marriage". The source went on to say that "only close ones know about this" and that "both have gone on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial."

Raftaar And Komal Vohra File For Divorce

Vohra, who's the sister of television actors Karan and Kunal, first met the rapper in 2011 at a friend's house and they both fell in love at first sight. After dating for nearly five years, the couple got married in 2016.

Raftaar captioned their wedding photographs, "Married to my soulmate" at the time and also has acknowledged that Vohra as being very supportive of him and his career. The couple, who's now headed for divorce, have deleted their wedding photos and unfollowed each other on their social media accounts, reports suggest.

Raftaar's real name is Dilin Nair and he began his career as a dancer. However, in 2008, he started his rap career. He then joined the Mafia Mundeer group and began working with Yo Yo Honey Singh. After the group split, he worked with a number of other bands, but in 2016, after signing with Zee Music Company, he began his solo career.

He is a co-founder of the Kalamkaar Desi Hip Hop label. He also served as a gang leader for a while on the reality show MTV Roadies. Raftaar's most recent performance was as the featured vocalist on Nushratt Bharucha's Janhit Mein Jaari.

On the other hand, Vohra is a professional interior designer and interior stylist who is also the co-founder of PROJETO, an Interior Design Studio based in Delhi.
