Psychological Thriller Bestseller Drops Teaser

Psychological Thriller Bestseller has dropped its teaser today. The suspense thriller's teaser gives us a glimpse into what goes into writing a ‘Bestseller’, hinting at a narrative that is sure to keep audiences hooked till the end.

Featuring an ensemble cast including Mithun Chakraborty, Shruti Haasan, Arjan Bajwa, Gauahar Khan, Satyajeet Dubey and Sonalee Kulkarni in pivotal roles, Bestseller is a new-age thriller weaving a world where every action has multiple meanings. Produced by Siddharth Malhotra’s Alchemy Production LLP and directed by Mukul Abhyankar, the eight-episode series will stream in India and across 240 countries and territories from 18 February. Prime Video unveiled the teaser of the upcoming Amazon Original Series.

Bestseller Drops Teaser

The series is based on the book The Bestseller She Wrote written by Ravi Subramaniam. It is about a successful bestselling author whose life takes a turn when he meets a young woman whose greatest ambition is to become an established writer. Actor Sonalee Kulkarni will also be seen in this psychological thriller series where the two author’s decisions create a domino effect on many lives. The official synopsis reads, "Celebrated novelist Tahir Wazir who is facing writer's block, meets budding writer Meetu Mathur. She is a huge fan who seeks his guidance. Desperate Tahir decides to use her story for his next novel. Ad film assistant Parth is planning something vicious to destroy Tahir and his close ones. Will he succeed? Will Tahir be able to write his next bestseller?"

The series is based on the decisions made by these people and what happens when their world collides. The woman is motivated by ambition, passion, and greed, which has the potential to ruin the life the author had built for himself.
