Priyanka Chopra Will Be Hosting Pre-Oscar Event On March 23 In Beverly Hills

Priyanka Chopra Pre Oscar Event: Priyanka Chopra has been roped in for hosting a pre-Oscar event on March 23 in Beverly Hills. The objective behind the event is to celebrate South Asian Excellence. She will be doing this with some of her South Asian colleagues including Mindy Kaling and Kumail Nanjiani. Other hosts for the event include names like Anjula Acharia, Bela Bajaria and Maneesh K.

For the unversed, Priyanka's last appearance was in the Hollywood film, The Matrix Resurrections. As per reports, she will next be seen in the onscreen adaptation of Shilpi Somaya Gowda's novel Secret Daughter. Chopra will also be seen in Farhan Akhtar's directorial Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. Some of her Hollywood projects lined up include web series Citadel, romantic comedy Text For You, and action film Ending Things.

She also made headlines recently for welcoming their first baby via surrogacy. She and her husband Nick Jonas took to social media on January 21, 2022, to announce the birth of their daughter via surrogacy.

“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.” wrote the couple in a joint statement posted on their social media accounts. They also hosted a fun Holi bash at their Los Angeles residence. Videos from the celebration went viral on the Internet.
