Priyanka Chopra on her Mom: The actor shared an overwhelming excerpt from her memoir Unfinished to wish her mother Madhu Chopra on her birthday. Taking to her official Twitter handle on Wednesday, she shared an old picture of her mother along with a note which read, "Happy birthday, mom. Missing our ritual of celebrating your special day together. Love you loads... see you real soon".
The excerpt comprises the earlier memories of the actor studying her mother while she would get dressed up. It read: "My mother was a combination of intellect and allure. As she would get ready to meet guests, I would study her carefully applying her makeup, creams, and perfumes and then getting dressed for the evening”.
Chopra describes how she remembers her from her younger days and elaborated that she always “exuded quiet confidence”, in her birthday post.
While describing her mother donning a "French chiffon sari for work" or "in a pair of white bell-bottoms", the actor asserted that she was always "the epitome of beauty" in her eyes.
Nick Jonas, the actor’s husband and singer, too shared a picture in an Instagram story with Madhu Chopra to wish his mother-in-law on her birthday. "Happy birthday to my incredible mother-in-law @madhumalati," he wrote.
On the work front, currently, Priyanka Chopra is shooting for Citadel, a thriller series executive produced by Anthony and Joe Russo, in London. The show which marks the actor’s streaming debut will also star Richard Madden. Citadel which will be released on Amazon Prime Video.
