Prithviraj Gets New Release Date-The makers, as well as the actors, have announced a new release date for Prithviraj. The film has previously been delayed for a long time, but the release date has now been rescheduled.

The makers of Akshay Kumar's next historical film, Prithviraj, revealed on Wednesday that the film will now be released on June 3, a week sooner than originally planned. Through his social media, the actor also notified his fans about the release date. He wrote, "Elated to announce that Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan's grand saga is arriving sooner on the big screen on 3rd June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."

Prithviraj New Release Date

It stars Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan, and Manushi Chhillar as Sanyogita, who makes her Hindi cinema debut. Other prominent characters in the film include Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari.

Prithviraj is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, a well-known director who was recently awarded the Padma Shri. The film's plot is reported to revolve around Prithviraj's 12th-century battle with Ghurid ruler Muhammad of Ghor.

The film, which is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, was originally scheduled to hit theatres on June 10, 2022. The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted several filmmakers' plans, forcing them to reschedule their films during the third wave of the COVID-19. One such film, Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar, was constantly postponed.

Prithviraj was supposed to be launched on November 13, 2020, for Diwali. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the producers were forced to postpone it. The film was then set to hit theatres on January 21, 2022. During the third wave of the epidemic, however, it was stated that the release date would be postponed.

Meanwhile, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Kumar's upcoming film Bachchhan Paandey, which was set to premiere on December 25, 2020, has been postponed until January 22, 2021. The film will now be released in theatres on March 18, 2022.

Bachchhan Paandey is played by Akshay Kumar, Myra Devekar is played by Kriti Sanon, Sophie is played by Jacqueline Fernandez, Vishu is played by Arshad Warsi, Bhaves Bhoplo is played by Pankaj Tripathi, Bufferia Chacha is played by Prateik Babbar, and Pendulum is played by Abhimanyu Singh. In the film, Kumar plays a criminal who aspires to be an actor, while Sanon portrays a journalist who aspires to direct, and Warsi portrays a struggling actor.

Bachchhan Paandey is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It's a remake of Jigarthanda, a Tamil film from 2014 that was based on the South Korean film A Dirty Carnival from 2006.
