Pooja Hegde To Share Screen With Mahesh Babu For The Second Time

Marking the 46th birthday of actor Mahesh Babu, makers Haarika & Hassine Creations announced his upcoming project along with Pooja Hegde titled SSMB28.

Hegde posted the news on her official Twitter account, "Here’s hoping for another Blockbuster and most importantly, having fun on sets," along with a birthday wish for her co-star.

Haarika & Hassine Creations announced the names of the leading cast and crew for their upcoming project and captioned the post, “Celebrating our REIGNING Superstar @urstrulymahesh birthday, we bring you the SUPER Squad of #SSMB28.”

The video garnered over 10,000 likes and 5,413 retweets in less than six hours of being posted. The film is also the second collaboration of Hegde with Mahesh, their first being Maharshi, released in 2019.

The art direction will be managed by AS Prakash and the music composer is set to be Thaman, known for Brindavanam, Ragada and Mirapagai among others. Reportedly, the film will be edited by Navin Nooli.

Touted to be an “enchanting tale,” the film will be helmed by director Trivikram. Moreover, the film also marks Hegde's third film with Trivikram. The duo appeared previously in Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018) and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020).

Hegde took to her official Twitter account on Monday to reveal the upcoming project. She wrote, "Happy Birthday @urstrulyMahesh!
