Tamannaah Bhatia Starrer Romantic Comedy 'Plan A Plan B' Trailer Released

The upcoming Tamannaah Bhatia and Riteish Deshmukh starrer Indian romantic comedy Plan A Plan B’s trailer was released on September 13. The romantic comedy will be released directly on an OTT platform this month.

Opposites attract as Tamannaah Bhatia’s character of a sincere matchmaker Nirali Vora and Riteish Deshmukh’s character of divorce lawyer Kaustubh Chougule clash. Conflicts arise as Vora moves to the office next to Chougule’s.

Plan A Plan B Trailer Released

The ">trailer begins with an introduction to the characters, Nirali Vora the matchmaker and Kaustubh Chougule the divorce lawyer. Chougale comments on their opposing professions and states, “You’re a matchmaker and I specialise in family law. Plan A, you get people married. Plan B, I handle their divorce cases.”

The classic enemies to lovers trope are set in the marriage (and divorce) industry where online dating apps are swiping right have gained popularity.

The opposing professions parallel the two characters’ opposing views and personalities as they continue to clash. However, opposites attract as the matchmaker and the divorce handler begin spending more time together. As the dup continues to bicker and squabble, they slowly start falling for each other.

Plan A Plan B Release

Plan A Plan B will release on the OTT streaming platform Netflix on September 30. The movie was initially revealed in 2021 at Netflix's virtual international Tudum event.

The Plan A Plan B cast consists of Tamannaah Bhatia and Riteish Deshmukh as the romantic leads in the film. They are joined by actors Kusha Kapila and Poonam Dhillon.

Bhatia said the film was a “wild ride” and called it a “dynamic movie that will appeal to every type of audience.” She said, "Working on this project has been a great experience for the entire team as we have had a blast on the sets almost every time we filmed."

The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh, who described it as “a sweet romantic comedy that is lighthearted and fun.” Trilok Malhotra, KR Harish, and Rajat Arora serve as the film's screenwriters and producers.
