The ">trailer for the whacky horror-comedy is finally out and gives an account of the life of desi ghostbusters played by Ishaan Khattar and Siddhant Gupta. The trailer also includes a fun reference from the film Koi Mil Gayaa in a scene where Ishaan Khattar chants 'Om Om Om Om'. The end of the trailer shows Katrina Kaif interacting with a ghost (played by Sheeba Chaddha), where Kaif teaches her a word, Moksh' that the latter struggles to pronounce making Kaif comment, "Tumhari Hindi weak hai?"

PhoneBhoot is written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film also features Sheeba Chaddha, Jackie Shroff, Nidhi Bisht, Manu Rishi Chadha, Manuj Sharma, Kedar Shankar, Shrikant Verma and Surendra Thakur as cast members. The film will be seen in the theatres starting November 4.

The trio, who share a great camaraderie off-screen as well, appeared on the latest season of Koffee With Karan earlier this year and talked about their close friendship and the fun they had while shooting the film. Kaif was last seen in the film Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar, while Gupta played a crucial role in the critically acclaimed Gehraiyaan. Khattar last starred in the film Khali Peeli opposite Ananya Panday.
