When Is Panchayat New Season Coming Out?

Waiting for Panchayat new season release date? The series follows the life of an engineering graduate who, due to a lack of better career opportunities, accepts a position as a Panchayat secretary in the distant Uttar Pradesh village of Phulera. The first season premiered in 2020, and the series new season is yet to come out. The series' fans are looking forward to the second season, and here's what we know so far.

The Viral Fever created Panchayat, an Amazon Prime Video comedy-drama web series in Hindi. Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Biswapati Sarkar, and Chandan Roy star in the Chandan Kumar-scripted series, which was directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra.

The drama followed Abhishek Tripathi, Kumar's character, who is an engineer who takes a government job of Panchayat secretary and is stationed in the village of Phulera in Uttar Pradesh. While, Neena Gupta, the elected Pradhan of a village in Uttar Pradesh's Balia district, holds the position because it was designated for women, disqualifying her husband because of his gender.

Despite the fact that she is the pradhan on paper, the entire community is comfortable with her husband (Raghubir Yadav) being in charge. She is an uneducated housewife who is mainly concerned with her daughter's wedding and wants to make all the decisions at home but leaves the panchayat office in the hands of the man of the house.

The series depicts Manju discovering her role and job as the episodes continue and the plot unfolds. Finally, she takes command of her position, an opportunity she has never had during her reign. On the other hand, Tripathi meets a girl, and the first season ends on a cliffhanger.

Panchayat New Season Release Date:

It received a positive response from viewers and critics, and it has an IMDb rating of 8.9 out of 10. The first season premiered in 2020, and the series has been on hiatus for about two years. Meanwhile, Gupta announced on her social media last October that she had begun filming her part for the show.

The series is set to be renewed for a second season, but the exact date for Panchayat Season 2 has yet to be confirmed.
