Netizens Support Creator As Orry Threatens To Sue Her Over A Video

Content creator Ruchika Lohiya found herself in hot water after her viral Instagram video stirred controversy involving Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry. The video, which has amassed over 4.1 million views since its posting two days ago, captured Lohiya recounting an encounter with Orry at an event.

What Is The Video About?

In the video, Lohiya describes approaching Orry at the event and expressing her admiration for him. However, she claimed that instead of a handshake, Orry offered her a fist bump, which left her feeling embarrassed and took a toll on her confidence. She also mentioned that Orry's manager instructed her not to take any pictures during the encounter.

Orry responded to the allegations in the comments section of the video, asserting that he does not know Lohiya and therefore was cautious about physical contact due to concerns about germs. He defended his actions, stating that he greeted Lohiya politely despite her disregard for his manager's instructions and the invasion of his personal space. 

In a long comment he wrote, "Babe, I do not know you, you ain't my homie, I do not know what germs and shit your hand carries. I am always happy to meet fans and friends when the time permits; shoving your way to me at a public event, passing my security and disrespecting my manager, you yet got close to me and politely greeted you. Don't expect strangers to touch you, you got a friendly fist bump but even that's not enough? And if you were truly embarrassed, what is the need for this clout-chasing video? Sly and shameless."

Orry also expressed disappointment at Lohiya's decision to publicise the incident for clout and threatened legal action for defamation. The incident sparked debate among social media users, with many expressing support for Orry's stance on personal boundaries, while others criticised Lohiya for her approach to sharing the encounter publicly.
