When Is Only Murders In The Building New Season Releasing?

Only Murders In The Building new season release date is finally here. The popular comedy series featuring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Shorts will soon be coming back with new murders and suspects.

In September 2021, Hulu renewed Only Murders In The Building for a season 2 which gave much-needed relief to the fans of the series. The fans were ecstatic to know that they will receive a resolution to the aftermath of an insane twist and cliffhanger that they saw at the end of season 1.

The series premiered on August 31, 2021, and is created by John Hoffman and Steve Martin. The makers and Hulu released the teaser of the show that revealed Only Murders In The Building new season release date.

Only Murders In The Building New Season Release Date

Only Murders In The Building is the story of three neighbours, complete strangers, who live in the Arconia, situated on the Upper West Side. They are united by their love for true crime podcasts and come together to investigate a murder case in one of the apartment buildings. Charles Haden Savage from building 14C, Oliver Putnam from building 10D and Mabel Mora from building 12E of Arconia investigate the murder of Tim Yono, one of Mabel's friends, whose death is declared a suicide by the police but the trio thinks otherwise.

After a series of adventures and near-death experiences, the crime podcasters finally confront Jan, played by Amy Ryans, the culprit for Tim's murder and get her arrested after a struggle. Just when they were celebrating their successful revelation, the scene changes to Mabel near the dead body of Bunny and the trio getting arrested. Season 2 is expected to take off from where it left, with Mabel, Charles and Oliver as the main culprits this time. It will be fun to watch how they prove their innocence and catch the real culprit.

The season 2 teaser was released on March 27 which gave us a glimpse of the upcoming adventures and a new character, Alice, played by Cara Delevingne. The new season will see Selena, Steve and Martin reprising their roles and will release on the OTT platform Hulu on June 28, 2022.
