Netflix crashes as Stranger Things fans flock to the OTT streaming service to watch the final episodes of season four that premiered on July 1. Netflix did not crash for all users, so while some fans lamented the delay others happily live-tweeted their experience of watching Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2.

Streaming service Netflix crashes for many users after a large influx of users who logged in at once. The outage was seemingly caused by the fans of Stranger Things logging in to view the show.

Viewers who had to deal with Netflix crashing were lamenting over staying up late to binge the show only to find that Netflix had crashed. Fans of Stranger Things have been eagerly awaiting to watch Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 since May 27, 2022, the day the first seven episodes of the season premiered.

Since the creators of the show Matt and Ross Duffer confirmed that there would be character deaths in volume two, fans have been fretting over the fate of their favourite characters and predicting which character might bite the dust.

Volume 1 ended with a cliff-hanger and several plot twists and revelations that left audiences hyped for the remaining two episodes. Unfortunately, Netflix crashed for many users, delaying them and their quest for answers.

Netflix Crashes After Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Premiere

Fans of the show immediately took to Twitter to share their discontent with Netflix crashing while other viewers who didn't have to deal with Netflix crashing happily streamed to their heart’s content and shared their experiences.

One fan said, “I did not stay awake this long for Netflix to crash”. People responded to the tweet, one person said that Netflix was back and that they could stream the show, but another user said that their Netflix still was not working.

Another user said, “NETFLIX THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO DO THIS” and shared a reaction image of Millie Bobbie Brown’s character Eleven screaming in despair in season 3.

One user said that they were “proud” of the fans of Stranger Things for crashing Netflix, but also irritated that they could not watch it.
