Nehha Pendse, Siddharth Menon Starrer June To Release On OTT Platform

Marathi Film June: The film June starring Nehha Pendse and Siddharth Menon is all set to release on the first Marathi OTT platform, Planet Marathi.

Nehha Pendse shared the news of the release of her new film on her social media account and wrote, "presenting the new trailer for June! June releases on the 30th of June, only on @planetmarathiott! नेहा पेंडसे आणि सिद्धार्थ मेनन स्टारर ‘जून’ या सिनेमाचा नवाकोरा ट्रेलर…

‘जून’ येतोय ३० जूनला फक्त 'प्लॅनेट मराठी ओटीटी'वर!" ('June' Nehha Pendse and Siddharth Menon starrer film's latest cover.. 'June' will release on 30th June only on Planet Marathi OTT).

Megha Dhade, the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi season 1 replied to the post and said, " waiting waiting (sic)."

The movie will also star Kiran Karmarkar, Resham Shrivardhan and Nilesh Diwekar. It is produced by Suhrud Godbole and Vaibhav Khisti. And the critically acclaimed director Nikhil Mahajan has directed the movie. Mahajan is known for his Netflix series Betaal. “June” is described as the story of healing. It includes two incomplete souls who seek comfort in each other while navigating through life’s challenges and seek to be complete in a way.

June was selected under the category of Indian Panorama at the 51st International Film Festival Of India. Further, it was presented at various recognised platforms like the Pune Film Festival, Kerala Film Festival, and New York Indian Film Festival.

Siddharth Menon spoke about the movie, "June, I feel, is indeed a turning point for the entire team right from the directors to everybody. This film opened me up as a more nuanced artiste."

The app Planet Marathi and the movie are timed for release together on June 30, 2021, and will be available for streaming from the Google Play Store. The movie will be released on a TVOD basis (transactional video on demand). Meaning the ticket counter is transformed into a virtual interface wherein the users of the app need to buy a ticket to stream the film.
