National Cinema Day: Watch Any Film In Theaters For Rs 75 Only!

The first-ever National Cinema Day (NCD), which is slated for this Friday, is anticipated to draw millions of moviegoers who will be able to attend at specially reduced prices on more than 4,000 silver screens around India.

The first-ever National Cinema Day (NCD), which is slated for this Friday, is anticipated to draw millions of moviegoers, who will be able to attend at specially reduced prices on more than 4,000 silver screens around India. As part of a campaign by the Multiplex Association of India (MAI), moviegoers can go into any theatre of their choice on September 23 for just Rs 75 per ticket, along with other "special surprises" that have been planned to celebrate the NCD.

Throughout India, participating movie theatre chains and screens include PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival, Miraj, City Pride, Asian, Mukta A2, Movietime, Wave, M2K, and Delite. Single-screen cinemas across the nation have also declared their intention to support the initiative. Not only that, even regular seat tickets will cost Rs. 75 while reclining seat tickets will cost Rs. 100–200. There will also be lower IMAX ticket prices.

The NCD is set to feature a slew of major movies, including KGF: Chapter 2, RRR, Vikram, Bhool Bhulaiya 2, and Hollywood blockbusters like Doctor Strange, Top Gun: Maverick, and others. Additionally, on the occasion of National Cinema Day, viewers will have the opportunity to view newly released movies like Brahmastra and Jahaan Chaar Yaar for just Rs 75. Chup: Revenge Of The Artist

The romantic thriller, which is directed by R. Balki, stars Dulquer Salman, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Sunny Deol, and Pooja Bhatt. It is said to be a tribute to Kaagaz Ke Phool, a 1959 Guru Dutt film. Sunny Deol investigates a unique serial killer in this psychological thriller who carves stars into the bodies of his victims while they are being killed. His chosen victims are film critics, and as he mercilessly kills them, a rating is written on their foreheads.

Prem Geet 3

This Friday marks the release of Prem Geet 3, the first Indo-Nepali film starring Pradeep Khadka and Kristina Gurung. It is the third instalment in the immensely popular Prem Geet series. Santosh Sen is the producer, and Chhetan Gurung is the director. On September 23, it will have release across the globe and be available in Hindi at the same time.
