Another user said referring to each story of the series, “Point entente these stories could have been told with just the name of Modern love Telugu version. The impact would remain the same.”

Commenting on and congratulating the direction team, a user who claims to be a professional scriptwriter on Twitter, said, “Hyderabad's our Own Guru and Uday Gurrala Garu's #Modern Love Hyderabad a must-watch for all Hyderabadis. Heartiest congratulations to the team.”

Being impressed by Telugu and Malayalam film actor Malavika Nair’s humour in the series, a user named Akshar said, “Malavika Nair as a stand-up comedian in Modern Love Hyderabad >>>>>>........>>>>>> Pooja Hegde in MEB.”

The cultural cues of food (although sometimes it feels too intentional; nobody ever eats a bag of chips in these movies), language, and landmarks are there in every movie to confirm that this is indeed taking place in Hyderabad. But none of it improves our comprehension of the city and its pulse. According to a reviews, the Hyderabadi identity as projected in the anthology appears to be essentially interchangeable with anyone from an Indian urban.
