Meenakshi Sundereshwar: The OTT platform, Netflix is all set to release fresh Hindi movies and shows in 2021 as part of its AbMenuMeinSabNew project. One of the shows is Sanya Malhotra starter Meenakshi Sundereshwar.

The actor took to Twitter to share the looks from her movie in which she was seen wearing a traditional south Indian bride outfit covered with jewels. Her co-star in Meenakshi Sundereshwar will be Abhimanyu Dassani.

• The upcoming Sanya Malhotra film will be directed by Vivek Soni. He was also the director of Rajkummar Rao's Trapped, Hasee To Phasee and Shandaar.
• The film will be Abhimanyu Dassani's debut in the digital space. His last acting project was Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, a parody of an Indian action movie which critiques the conventional macho action hero.
• As per the information released about the film, Meenakshi Sundereshwar is going to a romantic comedy.
• Sanya Malhotra is going to play the lead role, possibly a Tamil woman. She was last seen in Anurag Basu directed film Ludo which attracted many good reviews after its release.
• The first look of the movie was released by the stars in November last year. Sanya and Abhimanyu hinted at the significance of the film's title, the name of the character played by Sanya Malhotra.
• The film will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
