When Is Huma Qureshi Starrer 'Maharani' Season 2 Releasing?

The series' plot is based on the life journey of Lalu Prasad Yadav's wife Rabri Devi, who rose from being a homemaker to serving as the state's chief minister in the 1990s.

SonyLIV announced on Monday that the second season of the Huma Qureshi-starring series Maharani will shortly begin streaming. The Gangs of Wasseypur actor played Rani Bharti, a rural woman who is hand-selected to become the chief minister of Bihar, in the first season of the programme.

The upcoming season's ">trailer was also shared on social media by the streamer. According to SonyLIV, Rani Bharti (Qureshi) would rule in season two and implement fair government policies for the people of her state.

“But will she succeed, as every move matters in this game of chess?” conveyed the official overview of chapter two. Bheema Bharti (Sohum Shah) is now out of prison and prepared to reclaim the political position that is currently held by his wife Rani (Huma Qureshi) in Season 2. He may attempt to mislead the people and discredit the leader as he prepares to attack her using any means necessary.

In response to the video, a user commented on YouTube, "Just outstanding trailer. You do not need any big director, producer or actor, you just need a phenomenal story and screenplay to make a marvellous movie or content. Huma you nailed it."

Another user noted, "Just commenting to increase the reach of one of the best political series. It looks great hope the series doesn't disappoint."

Subhash Kapoor, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Nandan Singh and is co-producing the movie with Dimple Kharbanda, is the director of Maharani 2. Kunal Walve is the series editor, and it is produced under the Kangra Talkies umbrella.

The show will return shortly with some fresh twists and turns in its still-in-development second season. Season 2's filming started on November 27, 2021, and it will now be released on August 25, 2022.
