Malaysia To Amnesia

Malaysia To Amnesia is a light-hearted comedy directed by Radha Mohan. The cast includes Vaibhav Reddy and Vani Bhojan among others. Mohan’s film tells the story of a businessman named Arun who cheats on his wife, Suja, with another woman from Bengaluru. He plans for a four-day trip with his girlfriend. However, Suja’s uncle unexpectedly comes to the house and Arun lies about a business trip to Malaysia to get away from them.

But in an unfortunate event, a Malaysian flight disappears and the family now fear the worst has happened to Arun who now has the biggest problem of explaining how he escaped. The film is a ZEE5 Original and can be streamed on the ZEE5 platform.

99 Songs

99 Songs tells the story of a musician named Jay whose life revolves mainly around two major things: his passion for music and his girlfriend, Sophie. The film shows the journey Jay goes through as he is challenged to compose 100 songs before he marries the love of his life.

The musical journey of the tortured and passionate artist is depicted in this musical film. 99 Songs is directed by A.R. Rahman and can be streamed on Netflix.

Kaadan

Bringing the issue of elephant abuse to the light, Kaadan features actors as well as Unnikrishnan, the elephant who played a role in Kumki 2. The film is produced by Eros International and stars Rana Daggubati, Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Zoya Hussain. The movie can be watched on the ZEE5 platform.

Kamali From Nadukkaveri

The title of the film gives away who the protagonist is going to be. Kamali studies in a Tamil medium state board school and does not dream much about big things. But that changes after she sees the interview of a CBSE topper Ashwin who joins IIT Madras. Kamali then falls in love with Ashwin and dreams to join IIT. Throughout her journey, Kamali learns the importance of education from her fantasy and ends up being an idol in her village.

The film is written and directed by Rajasekar Duraisamy on his directorial debut and stars Anandhi Kayal, Rohit Saraf, and Prathap Pothen. The film can be streamed on ZEE5.

Jagame Thandiram

Jagame Thandiram is a special mention that is to be released on June 18. The film is a treat for all the action film fans as it is an action-thriller. The film stars Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi and James Cosmo. Jagame Thandiram is written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by YNOT Studios with Reliance Entertainment. The film will be available for streaming on Netflix.
