1. Nitanshi Goel aka Phool Kumari

'Laapataa Ladies' star Nitanshi Goel, 16, is one of the youngest Indian actor in the movie and has amassed a significant social media following post movie. She plays the character of "Phool Kumari" in the movie, and many people were moved by her powerful performance hidden behind her innocent eyes.

Nitanshi was introduced to the world of beauty from an early age, having made her acting debut at the tender age of nine. She performed in several TV series, including Karmaphal Daata Shani, Peshwa Bajirao, Ishqbaaz, Daayan, and Naagarjuna: Ek Yoddha. In addition to TV series, Nitanshi acted in movies, including Hurdang, Indu Sarkar, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, and the recently released Laapataa Ladies.

2. Pratibha Ranta aka Jaya

In the Kiran Rao movie, Pratibha Ranta plays the role of Jaya, the aggressive, ambitious, and intellectual young wife. She has previously made appearances on television in programs like Qurbaan Hua and Aadha Ishq. Pratibha Ranta, who was born in Shimla, stated that she related a lot to the character in terms of her own life experience.

"Acting has always been my dream job. When I was younger, I used to fantasize about it, but nobody understood me. They could not relate to this because there is nothing similar in Shimla, however, in Mumbai, it is common to see individuals in your immediate vicinity going on photo shoots. I was determined to take the risk, even though my family was hesitant and scared about sending me to Mumbai," she told Press Trust of India. 

More recently, she was also seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi as Shama, courtesan Sanjeeda Sheikh's daughter.

3. Chhaya Kadam aka Manju Maai

With her snappy one-liners, Chhaya Kadam, who played the amazing Manju Maai, has captured the hearts of the public. The Indian actress, who primarily works in Marathi and Hindi movies, has acted in movies such as Fandry, Sairat, Jhund, and Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She gives a fantastic performance in the film in a small but significant role.

Geeta Agrawal Sharma demonstrated her acting prowess once again in Laapataa Ladies, following her roles as a resolute mother 12th Fail, who manages the house and farm, and Madam Aulakh, a politician who conducts a cocaine racket in the crime thriller CAT. For those who are unaware, Geeta began her acting career in TV series like Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai. In 2007, she made her feature debut in the movie Foto. She starred in the comedy Mubarakan nearly ten years later, which led to her being cast in OMG 2.
