In the caption of her post, Sanon wrote that she tried to see a silver lining in everything, "like a ray of light in the dark, and good it the bad." In the video that she posted, the actor talked about how strangers are helping each other and trying to end each other's suffering irrespective of all the social divisions.

"What breaks us, somewhere also unites us. I mean today when I look around, it doesn't matter what your cast is, what your religion is, what your profession is, whether you're rich or poor, which state are you from, nothing matters," said the Bareilly Ki Barfi actor. She further added that at the end of it, we all are just human beings, who can feel and recognise each other's pain. "We feel terrible when someone is in need and we're trying our best to spread the word, to get that person help. We're total strangers to each other, (yet) we're donating, we're trying to figure a way to end each other's suffering and pain," she said.

Sanon's co-star Varun Dhawan who is working with her in the upcoming movie Bhediya, reposted her video on his story calling it a "good thought".

Kriti Sanon will next be seen in Dinesh Vijan's film Mimi, which tells the story of a surrogate mother. She willstar alongside Saie Tamhankar and Pankaj Tripathi in the film.
