With the upcoming Indian chat show, Koffee with Karan season 7, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, the entertainment, Bollywood talks and lots of fun are returning after a long wait. This season too is expected to be full of excitement and laughter with all the Bollywood stars spilling the beans and making some controversies.
The Koffee with Karan season 7 trailer, revealed celebrities who will be seen on the new season of the chat show. Ananya Panday will appear with her Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda, while Anil Kapoor will be teamed with Varun Dhawan. Other couples were Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Highlights of the clip included Samantha accusing Karan of being the cause of many “unhappy marriages,” Sara making a sarcastic remark about her “ex,” and Ranveer claiming to have numerous “sex playlists”. The show will also have new elements like Koffee Bingo, Mashed Up, and others in addition to its trademark rapid-fire section.
Meanwhile, the first episode is going to feature actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh who are also the lead pair in Karan's forthcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
The makers released snippets from the episode, teasing the audience with what should they expect from the show. The opening of the one-minute video sees Karan asking Alia, who recently married Ranbir Kapoor, about a marital "myth" that was disproved as soon as she got married. “There is no such thing as suhagraat, you are tired.”, Alia retorted.
In a later scene from the trailer, Alia offered Ranveer the chance to bring up the incident from her very first appearance on the show when she was unable to correctly answer general knowledge questions. She misunderstood Karan's question, and Ranveer called her the "genius of the year" after she realised it. They are "saakhis", according to Ranveer, who also referred to the two of them as "girlfriends".
Koffee with Karan Season 7 Episode 1 Release Time
Koffee with Karan Season 7 Episode 1 is all set to premiere on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar on July 7. Koffee with Karan Season 7 Episode 1 release time is scheduled at 7 p.m for the Indian audience.
