Koffee With Karan 7  is back with a bang. The opening episode  featuring Bollywood 'sakhis' Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is the talk of the town and the next episode of KwK is almost here. The fans are waiting patiently on who will be the guest this time.

Koffee With Karan episode one premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 7, 2022. The first episode had Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the "couch" who made the episode interesting with their amusing anecdotes. The two will be seen playing the leads in Karan Johar's upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. This will be the actor duos' second film together after Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. From Ranveer's sex playlist, Alia's funny little moments to the bestie behaviour of the two stars, everything kept the audience entertained and left them craving for more.

Episode one was filled with the energy of Ranveer and Alia and as they call themselves 'sakhi', they went all out to keep the serotonin running. Among the most popular moments of the show were Karan asking Alia what was the one big revelation after marriage and she said that there is nothing like suhaagraat, you are tired. Ranveer talked about his Sindhi descent and Karan cautiously laughed off any mentions of nepotism.

This season of KwK will host guests like Tiger Shroff, Sara Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor. The second episode is expected to feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akshay Kumar. This will be Samantha's debut on the show and in the season trailer, she can be seen telling Karan that he is the reason behind unhappy marriages because of the standards he has set with hit movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Meanwhile, in the trailer, Akshay can be seen expressing his disapproval of filters, or he mispronounces them as 'fillers'.

However, it is not yet confirmed by the makers that it will be Akshay and Samantha on the couch next. There is a list of A-listers that were seen in the trailer including Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Varun Dhawan, and Anil Kapoor. Things will get clear with the release of the trailer of episode 2 which is all set to air on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 14, 2022.

The show by the filmmaker debuted on television in November 2004 since then it has run for six seasons and remains one of the most talked-about shows about Bollywood. Season 7 of the show premiered on 7th July 2022.
